Discover the perfect Caribbean duality: the marine biodiversity of Catalina Island and the historical charm of Altos de Chavón.
This full-day experience is designed for those who want more than just a beach. We take you to the southeast of the Dominican Republic to explore the second-largest island in our territory—a protected sanctuary that hosts the best-preserved reef system on the coast.
Snorkeling at "The Wall": A Natural Aquarium Beneath Your Feet
Among the various beaches that adorn this Island, at Best Tour Punta Cana we have reserved for you its best version, so that your experience is unique and unforgettable, also leaving a space to enjoy the best snorkeling the island offers, (La Pared) a natural sanctuary and ideal place for lovers of the marine world, and that’s not all, we will also take you to admire the emblematic Altos de Chavón, a favorite place of major music stars to hold their concerts in the Country, as well as a preferred place for many world-famous celebrities to enjoy their respective rest.
You don't need to be an experienced diver. Snorkeling at The Wall is suitable for all levels, and all equipment is included in the tour.

Relaxation on Catalina Island and Dominican Lunch
After our underwater adventure, we disembark at the exclusive Catalina Island. White sandy beaches and waters so crystal clear they seem unreal await you. To complete the day, we will serve a buffet lunch with authentic Dominican flavor, accompanied by a selection of drinks including Cuba Libre, beers, and sodas for your total enjoyment.
The Cultural Touch: Altos de Chavón
We will end the day by visiting Altos de Chavón, an architectural gem built in stone in the 16th-century Mediterranean style, which could easily be mistaken for a town straight out of Tuscany or the south of France. At Altos de Chavón, you can also visit the famous church where Michael Jackson celebrated his marriage with Lisa Presley, as well as other great celebrities have done. This excursion combines sun, beach, sand, culture, good snorkeling, as well as our gastronomy. We look forward to seeing you so that you not only take in the history but also become part of it.
Important Note: The Altos de Chavón Amphitheater (with a capacity of approximately 5,000 people) was inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra. Since then, it has hosted world-class artists such as Juan Luis Guerra, Julio Iglesias, Sting, and Carlos Santana.
Altos de Chavón is not just a photo stop: it is one of the most unique cultural spaces in the Caribbean.
